Valley Youth House

When youth feel like there is nowhere else to turn, they can count on Valley Youth House.

Founded in 1973, Valley Youth House serves thousands of youth across 15 counties in Central, Northeast, and Southeast Pennsylvania, and recently opened a new location in Allentown. Community Lenders provided long-term financing to purchase a 1,152 square-feet, three-bedroom, one bathroom, single family home to utilize as a youth program home.

Valley Youth House is committed to supporting families, ensuring safe places, and building community connections for all youth and their families. This includes some of the most vulnerable youth who have been abused, run away from home, or are experiencing homelessness.

Personalized programs and services include emergency shelter, stable housing, counseling, and life skills training. The ultimate goal is for youth to achieve their desired futures and belong to a nurturing community.
